Is Samjho a dating app?
No. Samjho is not a dating app. There's no chat, no swiping, no match-making. It's a pure education/content app. If you want a privacy-first dating app, our sister app Hidnn does that.
Is Samjho an adult / porn app?
No. Samjho is an education app for adults (18+). Content is factual, tasteful, and appropriate — like health-class material, not adult entertainment. The goal is scientific understanding of human sexuality.
How is Samjho different from YouTube or Google?
YouTube and Google have lots of sex-ed content, but most of it is English-language, American, or pay-per-view. Samjho's content is specifically India: regional languages, Indian cultural context, shame-free but not crassly Western. Expert-reviewed, not random influencers. And structured — you can go topic by topic, not random search results.
Does Samjho have content in Hindi only or also other languages?
Primary content is in Hindi. We're expanding to regional languages (Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Urdu) as we build out the team. The app interface adapts; voiceover and captions do too.
How much does Samjho cost?
Many videos are free. A full subscription unlocks all content and is priced intentionally low — so Bharat users, not just metro middle-class, can afford it. Subscription options are shown in-app.
Is Samjho private? Can someone see what I'm watching?
Samjho is designed for private learning. The app doesn't display sensitive content in push notifications or in app previews (task switcher). Your viewing history is private — even our own team doesn't have access to it. No viewing data is sold or shared.
Who built Samjho? Is it a legitimate company?
Samjho is built by IndiDino Ventures Private Limited — a registered Indian company based in Bangalore. We also build Samaj Saathi (matrimony), Stick (gay dating), and Hidnn (privacy-first dating).
